Project Accountant + Construction Industry + Lincoln
Our client is looking for a Project Accountant who thrives in a fast-moving, detail-heavy environment where no two projects are the same. From billing and compliance to pay apps and lien waivers, you’ll be the go-to for keeping projects financially on track from start to finish.

What You’ll Do
- Handle project billing and invoicing from start to close-out
- Review budgets, purchase orders, and change orders for accuracy
- Track and manage lien waivers, COIs, W-9s, and tax-exempt forms
- Enter and code invoices through Timberscan, Procore, and Acumatica
- Manage the Spend Clarity app (receipt coding, project and cost code setup)
- Support the project management team with reporting, pay applications, and compliance
- Assist with subcontracting documentation and project setup
What You’ll Bring
- 2+ years of project accounting experience
- Prior construction industry experience required
- Familiarity with Procore and/or Acumatica preferred
- Solid understanding of billing, change orders, and pay apps
- Organized, assertive, and comfortable working independently
- Degree not required—hands-on experience is what matters most
