Project Manager/Estimator + Construction + Omaha
Are you ready to take the lead on complex commercial construction projects — and do it with a team that values your voice and your vision? This is your opportunity to join a respected, Omaha-based contractor with deep roots in the region and a commitment to quality, collaboration, and community.
We’re seeking a Project Manager / Estimator to join an experienced, close-knit team and help deliver multimillion-dollar builds that shape the Omaha skyline. If you thrive on ownership, enjoy the details as much as the big picture, and want to grow with a company that invests in your future — read on.
What You'll Do:
- Take full ownership of commercial projects from initial estimate through final completion — including bids, budgeting, scheduling, client communication, and execution oversight
- Develop accurate, competitive estimates, including hard bids, change orders, and preconstruction budgeting
- Collaborate with clients, subs, architects, and internal teams to ensure excellence at every stage
- Make occasional site visits to monitor progress and maintain relationships — while primarily working from the office
- Utilize tools like Sage 300 and Microsoft Office to manage documentation, schedules, and financials
What They're Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience managing and estimating commercial construction projects ($5M–$10M+)
- Proven ability to manage multiple moving parts — with strong communication and leadership skills
- A team-first, coachable mindset with the confidence to lead and the humility to listen
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
- Familiarity with CMAR, BIM, or 3D modeling is a plus
- Stable employment history with a clear record of completed projects
Why This Role Stands Out:
- Legacy-level leadership role — with the rare chance to transition alongside a retiring PM
- Strong compensation package, including:
- Company-paid health insurance covering 85% of family premiums
- Annual SEP retirement contributions (approx. 10–15% of base salary)
- Sustainable work-life balance: 40–50 hour weeks, with flexibility when needed
- A stable, respected company culture built on relationships, quality, and trust
