MAKE AN IMPACT 

As a Lutz Tech Data Analytics Intern you will 

  • Create and manage relational database stores and optimize database design 
  • Query data sets of various sizes to discover patterns and insights 
  • Understand relationships between client data sources and mapping data flows 
  • Visualize data or create visual dashboards using tools like Power BI 
  • Potentially develop business solutions leveraging automation, visualization, and machine learning tools, and understanding how these integrate into client infrastructure 


QUALIFICATIONS  

  • Strong academic credentials with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (data analytics or other related majors preferred) 
  • Relevant work experience including summer positions and/or school jobs 
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills around applying technical solutions to collect, consolidate, cleanse, and analyze relational and/or disparate data 
  • Relational database understanding and ability to query the data (a big plus) 
  • Experience with data visualization software (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.) 
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (not required, but a plus) 
  • Familiarity with analytics tools and languages such as SQL, Python, R, Java, C#, SAS, and environments like Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Dynamics 365 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills 
  • Sophomore standing or above
