MAKE AN IMPACT 

As a Tax Manager, you will 

  • Oversee and manage tax engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations 
  • Review complex individual, corporate, partnership, and S-corporation tax returns prepared by staff and seniors 
  • Provide proactive tax planning and consulting services to clients, identifying strategies to minimize tax liability and support long-term goals 
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop staff and senior accountants by providing technical training, performance feedback, and career guidance 
  • Conduct and review technical research on complex tax issues, communicating findings and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders 
  • Manage client relationships by serving as a primary point of contact, addressing concerns, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work 
  • Collaborate with firm leadership to identify growth opportunities and contribute to business development efforts 
  • Oversee engagement budgets, billing, and profitability while ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to deadlines 


QUALIFICATIONS  

  • 5 plus years of experience in tax, including supervisory responsibilities 
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting required 
  • Active CPA license required 
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations and compliance requirements 
  • Proven experience managing multiple client engagements and leading teams 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax matters clearly to clients and team members 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and tax preparation/research software
