MAKE AN IMPACT 

As an Experienced Staff or Senior Accountant, you will 

  • At the experienced staff level (1–2 years), responsibilities include preparing individual and business tax returns, conducting basic tax research, and collaborating with senior team members to ensure compliance and accuracy 
  • As a senior tax accountant, additional responsibilities include preparing and reviewing complex returns, supervising and mentoring staff, providing technical guidance, and managing client relationships with minimal supervision 
  • Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and s-Corporation income tax returns among other types of returns 
  • Assist in tax planning and research, respond to tax notices, complete elections, and assist with tax accruals and depreciation reporting 
  • Analyze financial data and supporting documentation for tax compliance 
  • Develop client relationships, participate in management meetings, and take on increasing responsibilities in mentoring and technical guidance 

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • 1-4 Years of experience in accounting or tax 
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting 
  • Has a CPA license or is working toward obtaining a CPA 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Strong problem solving, organizational, and prioritization skills 
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
