Tax Manager/Director + Growing Firm + Omaha

What You’ll Do 

You’ll be the go-to tax expert for a diverse client base—handling everything from compliance to strategy. Expect variety, autonomy, and the chance to shape processes as the firm continues to grow. 

Key responsibilities include: 

• Prepare and review individual and business tax returns (Forms 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S). 
• Lead client meetings to discuss tax positions, planning opportunities, and next steps. 
• Develop tax projections and advise clients on minimizing future liabilities. 
• Collaborate with accounting and payroll teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency. 
• Stay on top of tax law changes and identify proactive planning opportunities. 
• Maintain well-organized, accurate workpapers and client documentation. 

What They’re Looking For 

• Active CPA license. 
• At least 3 years of experience in public accounting or private industry. 
• Strong grasp of accounting principles and tax law. 
• Proficiency with Drake, QuickBooks, or similar tax/accounting software. 
• Excellent communication skills and a true client-first mindset. 
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
