Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant who thrives in a production-driven environment and enjoys partnering across the organization. This is a high-visibility role working closely with Plant Controllers and operational leaders to drive insight, accountability, and smarter financial decision-making.
What You’ll Own
You’ll play a key role in supporting financial operations and strengthening reporting accuracy across the business. Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the monthly close process, including journal entries and general ledger review
- Preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations
- Analyzing monthly operational variances and identifying root causes
- Managing fixed assets and depreciation, including acquisitions and dispositions
- Tracking company capital spending vs. budget
- Leading analysis and preparation of the annual capital budget
- Assisting with quarterly forecasts and projected spending analysis
- Recording lease entries in accordance with ASC 842
- Supporting annual audit and compliance reporting
- Strengthening and documenting internal controls and accounting processes
What They’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3–5+ years of accounting experience, with strong preference for manufacturing background
- Experience with fixed assets and capital expenditure tracking
- Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables required)
- Experience with IQMS, OneStream, Spreadsheet Server, or other CPM systems is a plus
- Comfortable leveraging emerging technologies and automation tools (AI mindset encouraged)
