Temporary Assistant Controller + Quick Paced + Omaha 

We’re partnering with a fast-growing, high-energy organization that needs a strong technical accountant to support during a specified time period. This is an 8-month contract opportunity ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys jumping into complex environments, stabilizing processes, and keeping momentum strong. 

What You’ll Own 

You’ll serve as the bridge across two key accounting leadership roles, ensuring continuity, accuracy, and forward progress. 

Key responsibilities include: 

·                 Leading and supporting the month-end close process 

·                 Reviewing and approving journal entries 

·                 Overseeing account reconciliations 

·                 Daily accounting operations (A/P, A/R, general accounting activity) 

·                 Helping maintain strong internal controls and documentation 

What They’re Looking For 

·                 Strong technical accounting foundation 

·                 Experience supporting or leading month-end close 

·                 Comfort reviewing journal entries and reconciliations at a detailed level 

·                 Experience overseeing core accounting functions 

·                 SOX exposure preferred  

·                 Experience with Dynamics 365 helpful, but not mandatory 

·                 Someone who can commit to the full 8-month engagement
