ABOUT THE ROLE:  

We’re looking for an organized, proactive, and hands-on Event Marketing Intern to join our team. This is an opportunity to contribute to real work, learn how the details behind great events come together, and gain practical experience across event marketing, project coordination, and client experience. 

  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Help with onsite setup and teardown for golf tournaments, tradeshows and other Lutz events 
  • Capture photo and video content  
  • Help keep event details and materials organized, including registrations, promotional items and other event logistics 
  • Assist with client gifting, including ordering, packaging and delivery 
  • Help track sponsorship commitments, invoices, payments and deadlines 
  • Support other marketing and business development projects and team needs as they come up 

  

QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • A junior or senior who is curious, dependable and ready to gain hands-on marketing experience 
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations, Hospitality, or a related field 
  • Strong academic performance with a minimum 3.0 GPA 
  • Availability to work 15–20 hours per week from September through December 2026 in our Omaha office 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to keep multiple projects moving 
  • A basic understanding of analytics and an interest in using data to understand what’s working 
  • A team-first mindset and willingness to jump in, help out and follow through 
  • A positive attitude, initiative and a willingness to ask questions and learn something new
