What You’ll Be Doing
This is a hands-on, high-impact role focused on financial reporting accuracy, audit leadership, and digging into the details behind the numbers. You’ll play a key role in preparing and validating financials across a multi-entity environment.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Lead the annual external audit and serve as the primary liaison for auditors
- Support insurance-related audits, including reserve calculations
- Own and review complex workpapers, GL activity, and reconciliations
- Analyze A/P and A/R activity—ensuring accuracy, reasonableness, and proper valuation
- Evaluate financial data and identify inconsistencies or opportunities for improvement
- Contribute to process improvements, automation, and smarter reporting; including AI tools
- Collaborate across teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
What You Bring
- Strong foundation in GAAP and financial reporting
- Background in audit (public or similar) highly preferred
- Ability to analyze, question, and validate financial data—not just prepare it
- CPA strongly preferred
- Experience working in a multi-entity or complex reporting environment is a plus
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
