Accounting/Financial Reporting + High-Performer + Omaha/Lincoln

What You’ll Be Doing 

This is a hands-on, high-impact role focused on financial reporting accuracy, audit leadership, and digging into the details behind the numbers. You’ll play a key role in preparing and validating financials across a multi-entity environment. 

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements 
• Lead the annual external audit and serve as the primary liaison for auditors 
• Support insurance-related audits, including reserve calculations 
• Own and review complex workpapers, GL activity, and reconciliations 
• Analyze A/P and A/R activity—ensuring accuracy, reasonableness, and proper valuation 
• Evaluate financial data and identify inconsistencies or opportunities for improvement 
• Contribute to process improvements, automation, and smarter reporting; including AI tools 
• Collaborate across teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting 

What You Bring 

• Strong foundation in GAAP and financial reporting 
• Background in audit (public or similar) highly preferred 
• Ability to analyze, question, and validate financial data—not just prepare it 
• CPA strongly preferred  
• Experience working in a multi-entity or complex reporting environment is a plus 
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
