Director of Business Operations + Growing Business + Omaha

Our client is seeking a Director of Business Operations to partner closely with ownership in leading a growing, high-volume restaurant organization with multiple locations throughout the Omaha metro.

This is a highly visible leadership role for someone who enjoys coaching leaders, streamlining operations, and creating consistency across multiple locations while maintaining an outstanding guest experience.

What You'll Do

• Provide operational leadership across multiple restaurant locations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop General Managers while creating accountability for performance and results.
• Partner with ownership to implement operational strategies and support continued business growth.
• Analyze operational and financial performance, identifying opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency.
• Ensure consistency in guest experience, food quality, service standards, and operational execution.
• Drive labor, food, and beverage cost management while maintaining exceptional customer service.
• Utilize restaurant technology and reporting tools to improve operational processes and decision making.
• Oversee staffing strategies, leadership development, and succession planning.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, liquor licensing, and company standards.
• Support marketing initiatives, community involvement, promotions, and special events that drive customer engagement.

What They're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Multi-unit restaurant operations leadership experience.
• Experience leading and developing Restaurant General Managers.
• Strong background improving operational efficiency through restaurant technology and reporting systems.
• Demonstrated success coaching, mentoring, and holding leaders accountable.
• Strong business acumen with experience managing budgets, labor, food costs, and overall profitability.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment while partnering with a driven, entrepreneurial business owner.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Toast or similar restaurant POS platforms.
• Background overseeing high-volume casual dining, sports bar, or hospitality operations.
