MAKE AN IMPACT 

As a Data & Reporting Analyst, you will 

  • Collaborate with the operations team to understand reporting needs and prioritize reports for development or redevelopment based on business value and usage
  • Design and build Power BI reports that align with firm standards, ensuring accuracy, usability, and performance.
  • Partner with data engineers to develop scalable Silver and Gold-layer data models that support reporting and analytics 
  • Translate business requirements into data specifications, semantic structures, and report logic
  • Validate key metrics and definitions to ensure consistency across firmwide reporting
  • Contribute to data governance efforts by defining business rules, data dictionaries, and quality standards
  • Establish and maintain report documentation, refresh schedules, and user access controls 
  • Present insights, prototypes, and analysis to stakeholders while providing light training and support to report users


QUALIFICATIONS  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field
  • 5–8 years of experience in reporting, analytics, or BI development roles 
  • Proficiency with Power BI, SQL, and modern data visualization best practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to trace logic through complex reports
  • Effective communicator who can translate between technical teams and business users
  • Experience within professional services, financial, or multi-departmental environments preferred
  • Understanding of data modeling concepts such as star schema and medallion architecture 
  • Familiarity with data governance, ETL processes, or Azure Synapse/Data Factory environments
