Senior Accountant + Agribusiness + Omaha

We're partnering with our client, a well-established Nebraska organization seeking a Senior Accountant to support a rapidly expanding business segment. This is a newly created position driven by growth, offering the opportunity to make an immediate impact while working alongside a collaborative and experienced accounting team.

What You'll Do

• Support day-to-day accounting operations for a growing business unit
• Prepare and review accounting data flowing from POS systems into the general ledger
• Process accounts payable transactions and vendor payments
• Assist with tip reporting and related accounting activities
• Reconcile accounts and ensure the accuracy of financial information
• Help support an upcoming ERP transition to a new accounting platform
• Communicate with operational personnel to resolve accounting discrepancies and questions
• Assist with accounting projects and additional business entities as needed

What They're Looking For

Required:

• 3+ years of corporate accounting experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with both accounting and operational teams
• Self-starter who isn't afraid to ask questions or identify issues
• Desire to learn and grow within a collaborative accounting environment

Preferred:

• Experience working with POS systems, particularly Toast
• Experience with Sage Intacct
• Background supporting multi-entity or operational accounting environments
