BigFoot Staffing is excited to present this direct hire opportunity with a long-standing industry leader in engineered equipment solutions. We’re seeking a hands-on Warehouse Manager who thrives in creating efficient systems, developing high-performing teams, and ensuring seamless warehouse operations.
This role is perfect for someone who values safety, organization, and customer service while balancing the fast pace of shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.
- Oversee daily operations including parts pulling, receiving, shipping, and inventory control.
- Lead and develop a team of warehouse associates—hiring, training, performance management, and mentoring.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, standard operating procedures, and Lean/6S initiatives.
- Inspect inbound freight for quality and accuracy, initiating NCR documentation as needed.
- Support same-day orders and quick-turn equipment shipments.
- Work with freight vendors to manage contracts and reduce shipping costs.
- Effectively schedule and allocate labor to meet production and shipping demands.
- Serve as a backup for forklift operation and loading/unloading customer vehicles.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain and report warehouse KPIs including cycle counts, pick rates, and shipping/receiving accuracy.
- Participate in a rotating on-call program to support after-hours customer needs.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5–7 years of management experience in warehouse, logistics, or related operations.
- Strong background in change management and process improvement.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with ERP systems (Epicor a plus).
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, listening, and customer service skills.
Desired Skills:
- Forklift operation (certification/training available).
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Logistics and international shipping experience.
Physical Demands:
- Active presence on the warehouse floor, including standing, walking, climbing, and lifting.
- Frequently lift/move up to 25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Pay: $75,000 – $90,000 annually (DOE)
