BigFoot Staffing is partnering with a well-established industrial equipment and service organization to hire a Service Administrator. This is a direct hire opportunity with a stable company that supports customers across a technical, service-driven environment.
This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys being the communication hub between customers, field technicians, and internal teams. The Service Administrator will help coordinate service work, schedule technician visits, communicate updates, and keep important details organized so service calls move smoothly from start to finish.
This is not a highly technical role, but the right person should be comfortable working around technical information, learning equipment-related terminology, and using multiple computer systems throughout the day. Experience in industrial service, mechanical equipment, dispatching, parts, construction, facilities, or another service-based environment is a plus, but not required.
Job Duties:
- Coordinate service appointments with customers and internal field service teams
- Communicate with technicians regarding schedules, service details, job status, and customer needs
- Help maintain organized service records, customer notes, work orders, and related documentation
- Follow up with customers regarding scheduling, service timing, and general updates
- Support daily service department workflow by helping prioritize communication and administrative tasks
- Review service information for accuracy and completeness
- Assist with resolving scheduling conflicts, missing information, or customer concerns
- Work closely with service, parts, sales, and administrative teams to help keep work moving efficiently
- Use internal systems to enter, track, and update service-related information
- Provide professional, helpful customer service by phone and email
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of administrative, customer service, scheduling, dispatching, or office support experience
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both customers and internal teams
- Comfortable using computers, email, spreadsheets, databases, and business software
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a busy, service-focused environment
- Mechanical, industrial, equipment, service, construction, or dispatch-related experience is a plus
- Ability to learn technical terminology and ask good questions when information is unclear
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
Compensation, Schedule, and Benefits:
- $26–$30/hr DOE
