Job Description
In this role, you have the opportunity to lead a complex avionics program system engineering effort through full qualification.
You are responsible for:
You are a part of experienced, skilled, multi-disciplined engineering team working in collaborative environment to produce a high quality avionics product. As the system engineer you are responsible for the overall design and quality of the product.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
Purpose: This position is for a seasoned professional individual contributor in the Systems Engineering sub-family, who works independently with limited supervision.
Responsibility Statement: Defines system specifications, input/output and working parameters for hardware and/or software compatibility. Identifies, analyzes and resolves system design weaknesses. Interfaces directly with customers and provides bench marking, product demos, and formal technical presentations. Investigates and documents complex configurations of non-standard software and/or hardware. Maps customer applications to Mercury products. Provides multi-layered technical expertise for next generation initiatives. Serves as the main technical contact for large qualified accounts. Understands the main concepts and applications associated with specific specialized company products.
Additional Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
MS Office suite including Visio and Project, DOORS, Jira tools, scripting languages
Education: BS or greater
Work Experience: 5+ Years
