Part-time, Hourly

Reports to: Managing Director

Compensation Package: Hourly wage

RESPONSIBILITIES

Our Recruiting Internship offers a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to learn the ins and outs of the recruiting world. As a Recruiting Intern with us, you'll gain hands-on experience in sourcing and screening candidates, conducting thorough reference checks, and mastering the use of an Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Objectives include:


Candidate Sourcing and Screening

  • Talent Sourcing:
  • Identify potential candidates through various sourcing channels.
  • Initial Screening:
  • Conduct initial screening of candidates to assess their qualifications and fit.
  • Interview Coordination:
  • Assist in scheduling and organizing interviews with potential candidates.
  • Reference Verification:
  • Contact and verify references provided by candidates.
  • Project Participation:
  • Engage in recruitment-related projects, contributing to process improvements and strategic initiatives.


Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Management

  • Data Entry and Maintenance:
  • Input candidate information and update statuses in the ATS.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
  • Generate reports from the ATS to track recruiting metrics.
  • ATS Optimization:
  • Contribute to the improvement and optimization of ATS functionalities and processes.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Rising Junior or Senior currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources.
  • Personal accountability, strong work ethic, integrity, and attention to detail.
  • Enthusiasm to grow a startup organization from the ground up and eagerness to wear many hats while anticipating future needs to help the company thrive.
  • Experience using Microsoft Suite, including Office Outlook and Microsoft Teams preferred.
  • Experience using LinkedIn preferred.
  • Ability to travel throughout the Grand Rapids Metropolitan area as needed.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Hybrid work environment, moderate noise level for an office environment
  • Ability to interact face-to-face and over the phone.
