Key Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new business opportunities with importers, exporters, freight forwarders, and supply chain decision-makers
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract negotiation and onboarding
• Conduct in-person meetings, site visits, and presentations with prospective clients
• Position logistics and port-centric solutions that solve customer challenges and drive long-term value
• Collaborate closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth service execution
• Maintain an active and accurate sales pipeline and CRM activity
• Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
• Represent the company at industry events, port-related functions, and networking opportunities

Qualifications

• 3+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in logistics, transportation, drayage, or supply chain services
• Strong understanding of port operations, containerized freight, or intermodal logistics preferred
• Proven ability to hunt for new business and close deals
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Self-motivated with strong time management and territory planning abilities
• Ability to travel locally within the Los Angeles / Southern California region
• Valid driver’s license
