Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end operational functions including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, dispatching, and transportation coordination.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supervisors, coordinators, and warehouse staff, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
• Implement and refine SOPs to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all operational processes.
• Monitor KPIs such as on-time performance, accuracy rates, labor productivity, safety metrics, and cost management.
• Partner with quality and compliance teams to maintain adherence to regulatory requirements (including life sciences, high-value goods, or specialized logistics standards).
• Collaborate with customer service and account management teams to support seamless client communication and issue resolution.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve workflow and resource allocation.
• Manage vendor relationships, transportation partners, and external service providers.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control initiatives for the branch.
• Lead operational readiness for new customers, service expansions, or facility upgrades.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of logistics, warehousing, or transportation operations experience; at least 3+ years in a leadership or management role.
• Background in high-touch, time-sensitive, or regulated logistics environments strongly preferred (e.g., life sciences, high-tech, critical shipments).
• Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing and developing multi-level teams.
• Deep understanding of warehouse processes, order fulfillment, inventory management, and distribution workflows.
• Ability to interpret and manage KPIs, operational data, and performance metrics.
• Experience improving operational efficiency through technology, automation, or process optimization.
• Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with WMS/TMS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
