• Hire and develop recruiters so each new producer meets activity, submittal, and placement standards within two quarters.
• Cut time-to-fill on priority searches by running a repeatable intake, sourcing, and client-update cadence without lowering candidate quality.
• Raise offer-accept and start rates through structured candidate coaching and mentorship, not résumé volume.
• Forecast weekly pipeline, margin, and capacity so leadership can staff and invest against real numbers.
• Keep the desk clean: accurate submissions, compliant process, and client relationships that generate the next search.

Environment & Resources

You report to senior leadership and run the branch day to day inside a small, early-stage recruiting firm. You hire and coach a compact team of recruiters and coordinators, with peer support from talent, coaching, and logistics specialists. You work in a standard ATS/CRM and recruiting stack, and you control a modest business-development budget against a plan you own.

Essential Qualifications

• A proven record carrying or running a staffing desk, ideally in transportation, freight, logistics, or supply chain.
• Evidence you have hired and coached recruiters who hit quota—not only managed activity.
• Fluency with the numbers that run a branch: pipeline, fill rate, margin, and retention.
• A client presence that wins repeat, multi-hire work rather than one-off orders.
• A coaching habit you can teach: intake quality, candidate preparation, and honest feedback.
