Key Responsibilities

  • Source, onboard, and maintain relationships with carrier partners
  • Negotiate rates and secure capacity for domestic shipments
  • Match freight with qualified carriers while balancing cost, service, and margin
  • Monitor shipments to ensure on-time pickup and delivery
  • Resolve service issues and proactively manage exceptions
  • Track market trends, capacity fluctuations, and carrier performance
  • Maintain accurate carrier and load information within internal systems

Qualifications

  • 1–3+ years of carrier sales, brokerage, or logistics experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of domestic freight modes (TL, LTL, drayage, intermodal, etc.)
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Motivated by performance-based metrics and results
