Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities across targeted industries
  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline through consistent outbound activity
  • Build long-term client relationships by understanding customer needs and providing tailored logistics solutions
  • Stay current on market trends, pricing, capacity shifts, and competitive dynamics to best advise clients
  • Collaborate with internal operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless execution and high service levels
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and rate negotiations
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity and forecasts within the CRM system



Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or transportation sales
  • Proven track record of new business development and revenue growth
  • Strong hunter mentality with the ability to self-generate leads and close deals
  • Solid understanding of international and/or domestic freight services
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to analyze market trends and apply insights to client strategies
  • Highly motivated, organized, and results-driven
