Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and develop new business relationships with shippers, freight brokers, and logistics partners to expand the company's customer base.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract negotiation and close, consistently meeting or exceeding assigned revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships by serving as a trusted point of contact for freight and transportation solutions.
  • Collaborate with operations and dispatch teams to ensure service commitments are met and customer expectations are exceeded.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and lane data to identify new opportunities and inform pricing strategy.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and rate quotes tailored to each prospect's needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline status, and client communications in CRM systems.
