Job Description: We are seeking a talented and motivated Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer to join this dynamic team. As an Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing geotechnical expertise and contributing to the success of our projects. You will have the opportunity to work on challenging and high-profile assignments, collaborating with industry experts and stakeholders to
deliver exceptional outcomes.
Responsibilities:
· Conduct geotechnical investigations, including site assessments, soil and rock testing, and laboratory analysis.
· Prepare geotechnical reports, providing comprehensive analysis, recommendations, and design parameters.
· Perform slope stability analysis, foundation design, and settlement assessments.
· Collaborate with project teams to develop geotechnical solutions that align with client requirements and project goals.
· Conduct field inspections, monitoring, and quality control during construction phases.
· Utilize geotechnical software and tools for analysis and design purposes.
· Stay updated on industry advancements, codes, and standards to ensure best practices are implemented.
· Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members as required.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
· Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Geotechnical Engineer, preferably in a consultancy environment.
· Strong knowledge of geotechnical investigation techniques, soil mechanics, and geotechnical design principles.
· Proficiency in geotechnical software and tools, such as slope stability analysis software, finite element analysis, and geotechnical design programs.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
· Willingness to travel nationally and internationally for project assignments.
