You’ll start on a $10 million live project with a basement and structure. You’ll be across trade letting, RFIs, progress claims, variations and EOTs. You’ll split your time between the site and the head office, so you stay close to the job while still being part of the bigger picture.
You’ll report to a PM who has come up through the business. They get what a good CA needs and they will have your back. The director has an open-door policy, and the team is close-knit. Whether you want to bounce around a tricky clause or just grab a coffee and reset, you’ll have people around you who want to help, not just protect their own patch.
This builder has consistently delivered quality projects over the last 5-6 years. During COVID, plenty of others in this space took on jobs that have since become major headaches. While some are still trying to recove,r this team stayed disciplined. They are in a strong financial and operational position and are now pricing a solid pipeline of new work as confidence returns to the market.
To hit the ground running, you will already have experience as a CA or PC with a head contractor on apartment, multi-residential or commercial projects. You are comfortable running trade letting and procurement packages in the 1-5m range, reading structural drawings, working on basements and multi-level structures, and dealing with services-heavy builds. You know your way around RFIs, progress claims, variations, and EOTs, can keep a cost report up to date, and can sit in front of clients and consultants without needing your PM to step in every time.
The salary on offer for this role is up to a $145k package.
