HoverTech International, a medical device company established in 1997 and a leader in Safe Patient Handling and Movement is seeking a Medical Device Sales Representative to join their team. The Sales Representative will be responsible for sales in the Cincinnati Metro area. This role is roughly 80% account management and 20% new business. 


***Medical Device sales experience is not required but an entrepreneurial mindset is a must have! 


The ideal Medical Device Sales Representative candidate…

  • 1-2 yrs. of sales experience
  • Has been through a rigorous formal sales training program
  • Has business acumen 
  • Is a self-starter and a great relationship builder
  • Enjoys presenting 
  • Is comfortable selling in a hospital setting


HoverTech International offers:

  • 70-75K base + commission (uncapped) and employer paid full benefits.
  • Remote with expectation to be in territory 4 days a week.
  • Car allowance, cell phone and laptop.


Medical Device Sales Representative Responsibilities

  • Grow sales, revenue, and market share in assigned territory.
  • Establish new sales through cold calling and visits to potential customer sites.
  • Offer a full range of products to new and existing customers.
  • Demonstrate products in hospitals and educate potential customers about features and benefits.
  • Maintain product knowledge and attend training sessions.
  • Negotiate prices and terms and prepare sales agreement. 
  • Maintains competitive product knowledge.
  • Collaborate regularly with sales and marketing teams. 


Medical Device Sales Representative Qualifications

  • 1-2 yrs. sales experience with previous formal sales training 
  • Business acumen
  • Ability to adhere to the vendor credentialing process of health care providers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and goal oriented
  • Open to 25% overnight travel
  • Must be able to travel daily in the Cincinnati Metro area
