Job Title:      Crate Builder

Location:      Coatesville, PA (on-site)

Schedule:     Monday-Friday 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM (willingness to work overtime as needed)

Reports To:  Warehouse Supervisor/Manager

Position Summary:

Roberts Filter Group is seeking a skilled Crate Builder to join the warehouse team in a fast-paced and evolving fabrication environment. This role is responsible for constructing custom wooden crates and securing products for shipment on large pallets. The ideal candidate has a background in construction or carpentry, understands safe handling of materials, and can follow packing specifications to ensure items are properly protected during transport.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build wooden crates of various sizes for packing and shipment.
• Measure, cut, and assemble lumber using hand and power tools.
• Safely load and secure products into crates and onto pallets.
• Wrap, strap, and brace items to ensure stability and prevent damage in transit.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies.

Competencies/Requirements:

• Previous experience in construction, carpentry, or crate building required.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and safe material handling in a labor-intensive environment
• Ability to operate basic hand tools, power tools, and pallet wrapping/strapping equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Physically able to safely lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and stand for extended periods.
• Understanding of shipping and receiving procedures.
• Strict adherence to safety policies.
• Proven track record of consistent attendance and punctuality, and a strong work ethic and reliability
