HoverTech International, an Etac company established in 1997 and a global leader in Safe Patient Handling and Mobility Solutions is seeking a Southwest Regional Account Manager-Medical Equipment to join their team.

 

The Southwest Regional Account Manager-Medical Equipment will be responsible for sales in AR, CO, LA, MO, OK, NM, TX, UT and WY. Ideally the candidate will live in the Dallas Metro area, which is central to the territory, but candidates can live in any state in the territory. This role is roughly 40% account management and 60% new business development.

 

The Southwest Regional Account Manager-Medical Equipment will be responsible for promoting and selling Etac assistive devices and patient handling equipment that cater to a wide range of care settings and people at all stages of life primarily to Home Care, Post Acute and VA markets. This is an in-person sales opportunity and requires 50% travel in the regional territory.

Southwest Regional Account Manager-Medical Equipment Responsibilities

  • Promote patient handling product portfolio throughout assigned geographic territory to achieve Etac's financial objectives and growth goals.
  • Raise brand and product awareness among therapists, providers, home access businesses, end users, and referral sources.
  • Support customer opportunities and drive growth within existing accounts.
  • Collaborate with channel managers and utilize CRM software to track sales funnel and customer engagements.
  • Represent Etac at industry tradeshows, deliver presentations at national and regional sales meetings, and engage with customers to identify strategic opportunities.
  • Stay updated with new products, promotions, and other relevant information of interest to customers.
  • Tailor growth strategies and tactics to support priorities, creating, documenting, and updating annual strategic and tactical plans that balance local market realities with broader Etac initiatives to achieve financial targets.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and various support teams.

 

Southwest Regional Account Manager-Medical Equipment Qualifications

  • 3-4 years demonstrated in-person sales experience managing a regional/multi-state territory.
  • Financial and business acumen, including the ability to analyze quarterly trends, year-to-year growth, margin erosion, etc.
  • Medical equipment, devices or home access sales experience preferred not required.
  • Strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales expectations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for executive-level correspondence.
  • Must be open to 50% overnight travel to the following states AR, CO, LA, MO, OK, NM, TX, UT, WY
  • Must know the mechanics of sales!
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
