Workers’ Compensation Claims Supervisor
$85K–$95K Base Salary + Benefits

We’re partnering with a growing Workers’ Compensation Third Party Administrator seeking an experienced Claims Supervisor to lead claims operations, mentor claims professionals, and support high-quality claims handling in compliance with state regulations and company standards.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise Claims Examiners, Assistants, and support staff
- Monitor team performance, attendance, productivity, and compliance
- Provide coaching, performance feedback, evaluations, and corrective action guidance
- Review and approve reserves, payments, and claim decisions
- Conduct file reviews to ensure adherence to state regulations and internal standards
- Manage claim diaries and ensure timely follow-up on active claims
- Participate in internal and external audits
- Prepare and analyze client reports, trends, and operational data
- Handle escalated claimant and vendor concerns professionally and efficiently
- Lead training sessions on updated laws, procedures, and best practices
- Attend client meetings and support strong client relationships
Qualifications:
- 3–5+ years of Workers’ Compensation claims experience
- Supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Strong understanding of workers’ compensation laws, claims handling, and compliance requirements
- Ability to manage deadlines, workflows, and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent industry experience
- Required state certifications/licenses as applicable
