Safety & Risk Management Consultant

Remote – Eastern Pennsylvania | $95K–$110K + Variable Compensation

Full-Time | Client-Facing Consulting Role


We’re partnering with a leading risk management organization seeking an experienced Safety & Risk Management Consultant to support clients across Eastern Pennsylvania. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly independent safety professional who enjoys consulting, relationship-building, and helping organizations strengthen workplace safety programs and reduce operational risk.


This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse client base while making a meaningful impact on injury prevention, compliance, and overall workplace safety culture.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite and virtual safety and risk management consulting services
  • Conduct workplace hazard assessments, loss control evaluations, and operational risk reviews
  • Develop customized safety programs, policies, and prevention strategies tailored to client needs
  • Lead safety training sessions, presentations, and executive-level discussions
  • Perform root cause investigations and loss analysis reviews to identify corrective actions
  • Create actionable risk mitigation plans and monitor client progress over time
  • Partner with stakeholders across operations, HR, finance, risk management, and executive leadership
  • Manage travel schedules and client visits efficiently across assigned territories
  • Utilize data, analytics, and modern tools to support proactive risk management initiatives


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of loss control consulting, safety consulting, or related experience
  • Strong knowledge of workplace safety regulations, workers’ compensation, and general liability
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients, leadership teams, and stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort leveraging AI and analytics tools
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
  • Spanish language skills strongly preferred


Required Credentials:

Candidates should possess one or more professional designations such as:

  • ASP
  • CSP
  • ARM
  • CRM
  • COSS
  • COHST
  • ALCM
  • CSHCO
  • CCSHCO
  • Or equivalent certifications


Travel & Work Environment:

  • Remote/home-based role with regular client site visits
  • Overnight travel approximately 3–4 times per month
  • Exposure to manufacturing, construction, office, and industrial environments
  • PPE required in certain client environments
