With over 2,400 weekly attendees and a team of 30 full-time staff, we are passionate about serving our local and global communities. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and grow the Middle and PreTeen Ministries (grades 5-8), creating engaging services, activities, and events that deepen students’ relationship with Christ.
- Recruit, train, and mentor a dedicated volunteer team to serve and support student ministry.
- Partner with the Kids Ministry team for smooth transitions of 4th graders into Middle School and with the High School Pastor to support 8th graders moving into High School Ministry.
- Collaborate with Worship Pastors to integrate students into creative arts and worship opportunities.
- Support weekend services as needed and assist with various aspects of church life.
- Plan and execute impactful summer camps and special events for students.
- Build relationships with local schools, students, and families to foster a positive connection to the church.
- Develop and distribute resources for parents, empowering them as the primary spiritual influences in their children’s lives.
- Create online content that engages students and families, keeping them connected to the ministry.
- Provide pastoral care for students and families, offering counseling, marital coaching, and support during significant life events.
- Collaborate with the Marion Campus Pastor to align with the church’s broader goals and mission.
- Participate in campus-wide events to foster unity and support the church’s mission.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field from a Bible College (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in student ministry is preferred, but we welcome candidates with varying levels of experience.
- A passion for youth ministry and a deep desire to help students grow in their relationship with Jesus.
- Proven track record in building and leading volunteer teams.
- Strong communication skills for connecting with students, families, and staff.
- A collaborative, team-oriented mindset to work effectively across ministry teams.

- Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
- The ability to connect with and engage students, creating memorable ministry experiences.
- Proficient in program development, event planning, and volunteer management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Technical proficiency for creating and managing online content and digital communication.

Benefits & Compensation:
- Full-time position (40 hours/week, including Sundays).
- Competitive salary ($45,000–$55,000, negotiable based on experience).
