Role Overview As a Biomedical Engineer with expertise in medical imaging, DICOM, and 3D visualisation, you will play a critical role in driving Amotio’s mission forward. Currently working within a non-clinical environment within our Research & New Product Development Team this is an exciting, hands-on role with responsibilities spanning from protocol development to project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
· Establish the systems, requirements, and processes necessary for optimal product development and regulatory compliance.
· Develop protocols for uploading, interpreting, and utilising medical imaging data.
· Engage in surgical planning and develop customised devices tailored to specific patient needs.
· Oversee the delivery of development projects in collaboration with our research and development team.
· Lead all aspects of scan visualisation and surgical planning within dedicated, market leading software.
· Collaborate closely with orthopaedic surgeons and healthcare providers to refine and optimise personalised orthopaedic revision surgery solutions.
Person Specification
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering (Biomedical focus); a Master’s degree is an advantage.
· Experience:
o Strong background in Medical Imaging, DICOM, and 3D visualisation.
o Experience in orthopaedics or healthcare settings is preferred.
o Familiarity with Quality Management Systems.

o Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
o Self-motivated with a “can-do” attitude; capable of working independently or within a collaborative environment.
Other Requirements:
Must be UK-based and open to occasional overnight travel and on-site work at our Cwmbran office and partner hospitals.
