Role Overview


The Researcher will focus on the  orthopaedic surgery environment exploring detailed market information, secondary data collation, analysis and information gathering, clinical paper & literature reviews. Providing insights to the research and development team.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct detailed analyses of the revision surgery market, including reviews of national orthopaedic registries and extrapolation of clinical data.
  • Undertake clinical literature reviews.
  • Map current patient pathways and prepare cost analyses.
  • Provide data and insights for pitches, presentations, and publications.
  • Deliver clinically focused presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the R&D team with data evaluation.
  • Liaise with partner universities to shape and support clinical evaluations.
  • Write company white papers and contribute to the development of knowledge resources.


Person Specification:


  • Essential: Bachelor’s degree in a life sciences or relevant field.
  • Desirable: Master’s degree in life sciences or a related discipline.
  • Interest in surgical pathways and patient outcomes.
  • Advanced skills in secondary research, with excellent knowledge of health information systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and data interpretation skills.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with complex datasets.
  • Strong written and oral presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
  • UK-based, with occasional overnight travel required.


Preferred Experience:


  • Experience in orthopaedics or healthcare is an advantage.
