Title: Growth Marketing Manager (Agency Experience)
Goal: Find a hands-on growth marketer to own and push our agency’s marketing forward so the team can stay focused on client work.
Job Summary: Execute high-level marketing strategies to gain new clients. Also, to turn those high-level strategies into clear, detailed execution plans, while managing the execution of those mid- and low-level details.
What this role is (in plain English)
- You drive the pipeline. You wake up thinking, “How do we get more qualified leads? How do we get more people working with the agency?”
- Work with leadership for direction on the marketing strategy, but then you keep the trains running
- You understand how agencies work (not generic brand marketing). You’ve grown an agency or similar service business before.
- You don’t need to build fulfillment or operations. You’re here to grow demand.
Must-haves
- Agency growth experience (lead gen for B2B services, not just product/brand).
- Comfortable owning the plan and doing the work, this is not a “tell others what to do” job.
- Strong grasp of sales-adjacent marketing (positioning, offers, funnels), but not a pure salesperson.
- Portfolio/examples showing you moved the needle (leads, meetings, revenue impact).
- Clear communicator, bias to action, can document simple SOPs when something works.
Nice-to-haves
- Upwork/Fiverr profile optimization experience (or similar marketplaces).
