Line Support Engineer

Ottumwa, IA – Full Time

Productive Resources (www.productiveresources.com) is seeking a candidate to be part of our engineering team at our customer's facility in Ottumwa, IA. As a member of our team, the selected candidate will perform basic product design, testing and/or analysis work for a defined portion of a project. Operate in a team environment, provide input to design solutions and participate in design reviews. Develop recommendations within established guidelines; work and decisions are reviewed by supervisors before implementation.

This is a full-time position that is indefinite in duration with the opportunity of professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization.

Duties:

• Provide design support and troubleshooting for the and Windrower Platform production line.
• Produce and/or evaluate possible design solutions to improve cost, quality and performance based on specialized knowledge of engineering applications. This may include possible involvement of other functional engineers, supply management and/or supplier personnel.
• Determine engineering specifications which must be fulfilled for routine problems or projects.
• Analyze test plan for product verification and validation of design changes

Requirements:

• Ability to work flexible hours to support production line (occasional overtime).
• Experience using Creo or similar software.
• Experience problem solving.
• Proficient communication while working with a team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering (or equivalent).

Preferred:

• Experience with product verification and validation processes.
• Strong experience in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with SAP.
• Experience with assembly line process and documentation.
• Experience with weld process and documentation.
