CNC Operator II & III – Multiple Positions

Eldridge, IA - Full Time


Productive Resources (www.productiveresources.com) is seeking multiple candidates to be part of our engineering team at our customer's facility in Eldridge, Iowa. As a member of our team, the selected candidates will be skilled CNC Operators. Multiple positions are available for Level II and Level III operators, depending on experience and qualifications. These roles involve operating CNC Mills and Lathes to produce precision machined parts, ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to company standards.


Duties:

  • Operate CNC machine centers to produce machined parts to specification.
  • Maintain quality and safety standards, performing self-inspection of parts and following established quality assurance procedures.
  • Follow written instructions, work orders, and blueprint specifications.
  • Keep accurate production and quality logs.
  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot malfunctions, and coordinate repairs.
  • Maintain clean and organized workstations, following 5S principles.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
  • Participate in ongoing training and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Operate and adjust CNC machines for standard operations.
  • Make basic tool/part offset adjustments.
  • Perform advanced setups and program adjustments.
  • Operate multiple machines simultaneously.


Requirements:

  • High School diploma/GED.
  • Ability to work third shift.
  • Strong blueprint reading skills.
  • Proficiency with precision measuring tools.
  • CNC machining experience (level based on skill).
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading and use of precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height stands).
  • Basic understanding of cutting tools and willingness to learn M & G code programming.
