Productive Resources (www.productiveresources.com) is seeking a candidate to be part of our engineering team at our customers facility in East Moline, IL. As a member of our team, the right candidate will be a Quality Engineer II who will provide quality planning, control, and improvement support for product development teams, manufacturing engineering, supply management, and manufacturing and/or distribution organizations to ensure John Deere product quality meets the customers' expectations. This includes the application of quality tools within the Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP), Enterprise Order Fulfillment Process (EOFP) and Customer Support Process (CSP). Also supports application of quality tools with key suppliers as an integral element of quality planning.

 

This is a full-time position that is indefinite in duration with the opportunity of professional growth, and additional

opportunities within our organization. 


Duties:

  • Identify and implement continuous improvement projects impacting safety, quality, efficiency, and cost improvements.
  • Develop, monitor, and maintain quality control systems and procedures to ensure that products meet established quality standards and customer requirements throughout the production and delivery processes.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, operations, and supplier quality, to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Work with SAP, MPPlanner, and JDAAT to perform engineering functions. 


Requirements:

  • Ability to work off shifts, overtime, and weekends if needed.
  • Good communication skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively with production teams and external suppliers.
  • A self-starter with the ability to execute a variety of tasks.
  • Experience in one or more related engineering areas: industrial, reliability, design, manufacturing, or quality.
  • Experience with engineering tools, systems, and databases.


Preferred Skills:

  • Previous shop floor experience working in a union environment.
  • Experience with CVML, torque tooling, or other mistake proofing tools.
  • Experience with JDAAT coding and other MES systems (SAP, Ignition, etc).
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Creo View software.
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, data analytics, or equivalent related work experience. Others may apply.
