PV&V Planning Engineer

Horicon, WI – Full Time

 

Productive Resources (www.productiveresources.com) is seeking a candidate to be part of our engineering team at our customer's facility in Horicon, WI. As a member of our team, the selected candidate will perform basic product design, testing and/or analysis work for a defined portion of a project. Operate in a team environment, providing input to design solutions and participating in design reviews. Develop recommendations within established guidelines; work and decisions are reviewed by supervisors before implementation.


Duties:

  • Plan and coordinate testing and analysis work for design projects varying in complexity from component only to complete development programs.
  • Operate in a team environment within PV&V (Product Verification and Validation) and the Design Engineering community.
  • Lead and execute comprehensive PV&V plans encompassing virtual analysis, laboratory testing, and field validation, coordinated across appropriate swim lanes to ensure timely completion of all activities.
  • Coordinate, assign, and review work done by PV&V engineers, lab technicians, and mechanics for evaluation of machine performance/reliability to product specifications.
  • Provide technical support to marketing, product engineering, manufacturing, quality and supply management functional areas.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Agricultural Engineering or equivalent knowledge.
  • Technical experience with development and/or verification testing of products.
  • Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Demonstration of being a self-directed individual with excellent organizational and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret, analyze, and present technical information using practical judgment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.


Preferred:

  • Experience with data analysis and/or product verification/validation testing.
  • Knowledge of Utility Vehicles and their applications.
  • Experience with systematic corrective action processes (PDCA, 8D, 5 Why, etc.)
