Mechanical Engineer 

McConnellsburg, PA - Full Time



Productive Resources (www.productiveresources.com) is seeking a candidate to be part of our engineering team at our customer's facility in McConnellsburg, PA. As a member of our team, the selected candidate will be a Mechanical Engineer with expertise in heavy equipment to join our innovative team in McConnellsburg, PA. This role will focus on the design, development, and optimization of heavy equipment systems, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of performance, safety, and reliability.

 

This is a full-time position that is indefinite in duration with the opportunity of professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization. 


Duties:

  • Create and refine mechanical designs for heavy equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company specifications.
  • Experience in structure design.
  • Utilize CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to produce detailed drawings and specifications.
  • Perform mechanical analyses, including stress, fatigue, and thermal analysis, to validate design integrity.
  • Conduct prototype testing and evaluation, analyzing data to drive design improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and procurement, to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Assist in managing project timelines and budgets, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Provide engineering support during the manufacturing process, troubleshooting design-related issues as they arise.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical design or engineering, specifically within the heavy equipment industry.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) and engineering analysis tools.
  • Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical systems relevant to heavy equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • CREO experience.
