Supply Chain Associate

Hagerstown, Maryland - Full Time


Productive Resources (www.productiveresources.com) is seeking a candidate to be part of our engineering team at our customer's facility in Hagerstown, MD. As a member of our team, the selected candidate will be a Supply Chain Associate who will support the supply chain organization with the analysis and development of various business processes. This role will interface with departments and/or segments.

 

This is a full-time position that is indefinite in duration with the opportunity of professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization. 


Duties:

  • Support and maintain standard work procedures and business processes.
  • Assist with the identification of standard work and process needs by collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Support the deployment of supply chain training programs and curriculum.
  • Assist in the development of the supply chain surveys.
  • Review existing business processes with team members.
  • Apply tools from lean principal methodology to drive continuous improvement efforts related to supply chain business process (i.e., value stream/process mapping, supplier quality processes, six sigma processes, fishbone diagrams, problem solving skills and 5 why).


Requirements:

  • Relevant industry related certifications.
  • Supply Chain experience within the manufacturing industry.
  • Experience mentoring and leading team members through direct reporting relationships or project work.
  • Ability to effectively communicate.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional follow-through and attention to detail.
  • Strong time-management and prioritization skills, able to multi-task and prioritize competing requirements and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where requirements are constantly changing.
  • Experience and proficiency with various web-based software applications including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.
