Position Overview:
We invite applications for the Manager of Preclinical Scientists position to join our client's dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, conducting, and analyzing preclinical studies essential for advancing innovative therapeutics. We are seeking someone with a solid foundation in pharmacology, toxicology, or a related field complemented by practical experience in executing preclinical studies. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, manage, and execute in vitro and in vivo preclinical studies to evaluate drug candidates' efficacy, safety, and pharmacokinetics.
- Build and lead a laboratory team.
- Develop and validate animal models for various disease indications.
- Analyze and interpret preclinical data and prepare reports and presentations for internal teams and regulatory submissions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including pharmacology, toxicology, regulatory affairs, and clinical development, to align preclinical strategies with overall drug development goals.
- Manage relationships with biotech, pharmaceutical, and academic partners to conduct outsourced studies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines (e.g., GLP, IACUC, AAALAC) and uphold best practices in animal welfare.
- Stay updated on advancements in preclinical research methodologies and regulatory expectations.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. or M.S. in Immunology, Molecular Biology, Pharmacology, Toxicology, Biology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in preclinical research within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.

Hands-on experience with in vivo models, including xenograft/syngeneic models, dosing, sample collection, and behavioral assessments.
- Experience with in-vitro assays including SPR, cell killing, tumor killing, ADCC assays
- Strong understanding of pharmacokinetics, toxicology, and safety assessment principles.
- Proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment, along with managerial skills
- Must be able to interface externally with other organizations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) environment.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for Investigational New Drug (IND) applications.
- Knowledge of advanced imaging techniques, biomarker discovery, or computational modeling.
