Entry-Level Employee Relations Specialist (Contract), Duration: 6-month contract, full-time (40 hours/week), Location: Onsite in Downtown Indianapolis, IN 46222
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Employee Relations Specialist to join our team for a 6-month contract. This role is crucial for maintaining a fair and positive work environment by providing initial support and analysis for employee relations issues. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with strong communication and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Initial Intake & Documentation: Conduct first-level intake for employee relations concerns, accurately documenting all relevant details in a confidential manner.

Situational Review: Collaborate with business partners, the labor relations team, and the Director of Employee Relations to review and assess employee concerns.

Issue Tracking & Analysis: Maintain a comprehensive log of all employee relations issues. Use this data to perform trend analysis to identify recurring themes and areas for improvement in policies and procedures.

Proactive Measures: Based on data analysis, assist in developing and recommending proactive solutions to address systemic issues and enhance the employee experience.

Support: Provide administrative support for investigations and disciplinary actions as needed, ensuring all processes are followed correctly.
Qualifications
Experience: A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and AI with you, the HR professional, always being in the loop) for documentation and analysis.
