Recruiter Summary of Position


Job Title: Onsite Service Engineer (Northeast).

Location: On-Site (Dedicated Customer Site) in Devens, Massachusetts.

Required Technical Skills: Industrial equipment troubleshooting and repair. Electrical and mechanical systems. Industrial lasers and motion control systems. Preventive maintenance and documentation.

Required Experience: 2+ years servicing industrial equipment. Ability to read electrical schematics and engineering diagrams. Windows PC, networking, and Microsoft Office proficiency.

Required Certifications/Licenses: Electrical Engineering Technician certification (equivalent technical training). Valid driver's license and passport.

Preferred Technical Skills: Additive manufacturing, Metal 3D printing, MAGICS, SolidWorks.

Desired Experience: Customer-facing field service experience. Installation of industrial machinery.


Note: This position is designated as an onsite Service Engineer role. Should the assignment conclude, the role will transition to a standard Field Service Engineer position requiring travel.

Onsite Service Engineer: You'll be the trusted technical expert keeping some of the world's most advanced manufacturing technology operating at peak performance. Working directly at a dedicated customer site, you'll solve complex technical challenges and build lasting customer relationships.

What You'll Do

  • Install, commission, maintain, and repair advanced industrial 3D printing equipment.
  • Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and software issues both on-site and remotely.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability.
  • Partner with remote technical specialists to resolve complex service challenges.
  • Maintain accurate service documentation and manage spare parts inventory.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience through responsive, professional support.


What Makes You Successful

  • 2+ years of experience servicing industrial equipment or automated machinery.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, and motion control systems.
  • Ability to interpret schematics with a technical background in electrical engineering technology.
  • Experience with industrial lasers, CNC equipment, automation, robotics, additive manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with MAGICS, SolidWorks, Windows PCs, networking, and Microsoft Office is a plus.
  • Great communication skills and the ability to work independently while building customer trust.
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends and travel internationally when needed.
