Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced US Health Economics and Market Access Manager to expand patient access to life-saving technology. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in orthopedics and/or MedTech, along with deep experience navigating the US reimbursement landscape and health-economic initiatives. This individual will lead the development and execution of comprehensive market access and health-economic strategies that align with organizational objectives and evolving regulatory environments.


Responsibilities: 

  • Support reimbursement strategy, manage programs, and identify new opportunities to improve product access and affordability.
  • Strategize and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop real-world health economic evidence, supporting product value propositions and health economic models.
  • Lead cost-effectiveness projects, analyze real-world data, and create commercial materials.
  • Stay up to date on healthcare policy and regulations which influence our industry, markets, products and patient access.
  • Collaborate with commercial (specifically National Accounts Director), medical affairs, regulatory affairs, and other internal teams to integrate market access considerations into product development and commercialization plans.
  • Serve as an internal and external resource on reimbursement and value communication; create training materials for customers, distributors, and regional managers.
  • Collaborate on Clinical Studies to incorporate Health Economic parameters as part of the study outcomes.

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in orthopedics/orthobiologics or Med Tech space focused on reimbursement and health economic initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of the reimbursement landscape, medical terminology and the healthcare industry.
