The Associate Sales Manager operates in close collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager to achieve sales objectives for the Company's products within their designated territory. The ASM is responsible for expanding market presence through the development of relationships with surgeons and independent distributors within existing approved accounts.


Responsibilities:


The Associate Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and fostering strong relationships within assigned territories. This role involves a combination of independent sales efforts and collaboration with distribution channels. Key responsibilities include:


  • Sales Achievement: Achieve individual and channel sales quotas and bonus objectives.
  • Relationship Management: Assist the Regional Sales Manager in developing and maintaining robust relationships with existing approved accounts.
  • Distributor Support: Train and support distributors through field sales calls and provide comprehensive case coverage.
  • Customer Focus: Analyze customer needs and deliver tailored solutions to address specific requirements.
  • Business Development: Cultivate new relationships with surgeons at existing approved accounts to expand market presence.
  • Opportunity Identification: Identify opportunities to enhance product performance and drive revenue growth.
  • Market Analysis: Maintain ongoing awareness of industry trends, competitive landscape, product acceptance, and new product releases.
  • Reporting: Provide regular and timely reports to the Regional Sales Manager and colleagues, adhering to established frameworks.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop, update, and maintain a comprehensive customer database and contact record.
  • Presentations: Deliver presentations to surgeons and/or medical staff.
  • Event Support: Provide support at key events within the United States.
  • Company Representation: Represent the company professionally in all interactions with third-party contacts and associates.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with the sales team and other relevant departments within the Company organization.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Engage in regular communication with colleagues to facilitate continuous learning and knowledge exchange.
  • Company Image: Contribute to enhancing the Company's reputation as a science-driven organization.


Other Responsibilities:


  • Adhere to all Company Health and Safety policies.
  • Comply with all customer health and safety policies.
  • Maintain full understanding and adherence to Company procedures and policies.
  • Report any adverse events related to Company products in a timely manner.


Requirements:


  • Education: Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in sales of spinal hardware or biologics is required.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Work Ethic: Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
