We are seeking a highly motivated self-starter with a proven track record of success. For this role we would consider medical device surgical experience not exclusive to spinal implants, based on our clients’ onboarding and training process. Ideal candidates will have a demonstrated track record of sales success, and ideally with performance could elevate in the organization as it grows. Reporting directly to executive leadership, this is a high visibility role and fantastic ability to develop skills and success in ones medical device career.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to ensure delivery of revenue targets.
- Act as a liaison with surgeons, key opinion leaders, and influential industry personnel
- Provide leadership, training, and hands-on management of the field sales organization.
- Manage regional pricing and local hospital contracts aligned with senior leadership.
- Work with the executive management team and assist with the development of promotional events, marketing materials, and sales tools.
- Manage expenses in accordance with company policy.
- Attend sales meetings, marketing programs, tradeshows, labs, and other events as required.
- Identify customer needs, decision-makers, and budget cycles to capitalize on business opportunities.
- Support surgical cases as needed to reinforce product adoption and build clinical confidence.
- Conduct product presentations, in-services, dry labs, and demonstrations for surgeons, hospital staff, and stakeholders.
- Forecast regional sales and analyze account performance to inform strategy and resource allocation.
- Hire, train, and manage distributors, providing ongoing in-servicing and development support.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5+ years of direct sales experience in the life sciences industry.
- Spine industry experience (preferred not required)
- Operating room (OR) experience
- Experience managing distributor sales channels required.
- Proven track record of sales success with the ability to meet and exceed targets.
- 50% regional travel
Compensation: (Base compensation+ commission) - $175,000+ uncapped
