Confidential Hospitality Group
This role is perfect for someone who loves the rush of bringing events to life, thrives on building relationships, and knows how to turn creative ideas into revenue. If you enjoy working in a fast-moving environment where every day brings new clients, new concepts, and new opportunities to win, this is the type of Catering Sales role that actually feels exciting instead of routine.
What You’ll Own
You will be the face of the property for all things catering and events. Your work shapes the guest experience long before they walk through the door. You’ll guide clients through the entire journey, from the first conversation to the final applause at the end of an event.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the charge in developing new catering business while strengthening relationships with existing partners.
• Host site visits, walk clients through the vision, and highlight how the venue’s spaces, menus, and capabilities bring moments to life.
• Design custom menus and event concepts that match each client’s style and budget.
• Drive last-minute and short-term business by filling open dates with creative packages and profitable food and beverage minimums.
• Translate client expectations into flawless execution by coordinating with culinary, operations, and service teams.
• Oversee event logistics to ensure everything from room set-up to service flow runs smoothly.
• Prepare proposals, contracts, BEOs, client communication, follow-ups, and post-event rebooking.
• Review checks, billing, and event-related charges for accuracy.
• Stay organized with accurate files, timelines, and systems.
• Participate in internal meetings, contribute ideas, and stay aligned with sales strategy.
• Maintain an active, strategic pipeline to consistently grow catering revenue.
What Success Looks Like
• Clients who feel genuinely understood and supported.
• Events that run clean, tight, and polished without surprises.
• A book of business filled with repeat clients because you delivered an experience they can’t get anywhere else.
• Strong month-over-month revenue growth and smart short-term booking decisions.
• Someone who comes to the table with ideas, not just tasks.
Who You Are
• A natural relationship-builder who can read the room and communicate clearly.
• Confident in negotiating, problem-solving, and thinking three steps ahead.
• Organized, detail-driven, and able to manage multiple events without losing speed.
• Comfortable leading clients, collaborating with internal teams, and driving revenue.
• Someone who enjoys being part of the action and seeing their work translate into unforgettable experiences.
Tools You’ll Use
• Modern sales and catering software (Delphi, Opera, or comparable platforms)
• Standard office applications
• Basic event and banquet equipment knowledge (spacing, flow, set-up logistics)
This is a strong opportunity for a Catering Sales Manager who wants to be part of a property that values creativity, client service, and producing events that genuinely impress. If you’re motivated by growth, collaboration, and seeing your ideas turn into high-impact events, we’d love to talk.
