Job Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a creative and talented Civil Engineer in our Toledo and Kalamazoo offices. Our offices are growing and have exciting opportunities available. This position requires self-motivation, commitment to high-quality work performance, excellent planning and communication skills, and the ability to work with staff in a project team environment. 

Primary Functions

• Plan and design Civil and Land Development projects, including site layout, grading, stormwater management and utilities.
• Perform design calculations, quantify bid items, develop cost estimates, and prepare reports.
• Research zoning ordinances, design standards, and permitting regulations and prepare submittals. 
• Assist with drafting and plan production utilizing AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
• Work with a multi-discipline team of architects, MEP, and structural engineers on a variety of projects including Higher Education, Retail, Commercial, Industrial, and others.

Desired Education

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering Technology. 

Desired Skills/Experience

• 1+ years of experience of land development or general civil engineering experience. 
• Knowledge of AutoCAD required; Civil 3D preferred.
• Strong computer and communication skills.
