Job Summary: As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and efficient delivery of client projects while fostering positive client relationships. You'll be responsible for using AutoCAD Civil3D to design various aspects of land development site work, including subdivisions, streets, and utility systems. This role is vital to maintaining our company's reputation for excellence and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality and Efficiency: Ensure that all projects meet company standards of practice and quality while being completed efficiently.
  • Client and Agency Relationships: Promote and maintain strong relationships with clients and regulatory agencies.
  • Project Management: Monitor budgets, project accountability, and adherence to schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Technical Design: Use AutoCAD Civil3D to design land development site work, including streets, water mains, sewer systems, grading plans, and more.
  • Team Leadership: Manage Assistant Project Managers and Technicians, providing direction and ensuring team collaboration.
  • Documentation: Prepare reports, specifications, construction documents, and obtain necessary permits from outside agencies.
  • Problem-Solving: Define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions to keep projects on track.
  • Client Interaction: Attend and lead meetings with clients, municipalities, boards, and agencies to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant land development engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a management role.
  • Licenses: Valid North Carolina PE license and a valid North Carolina Driver’s License.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Ajera financial management software is preferred.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to remain stationary for long periods and effectively communicate information.
