Summary: Our team is looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our growing MEP engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, evaluation, and planning of HVAC systems for a variety of building types and markets. Typical projects include commercial, K-12, higher education, healthcare, and other institutional facilities. This is not a product design role. You will work closely with clients and project teams to develop high-quality engineering solutions from concept through construction.

What I'm Looking For


  • Design HVAC systems including chillers, boilers, air handling units, ductwork, piping, and controls
  • Prepare detailed mechanical design documents using Revit
  • Perform engineering calculations and equipment selection for building mechanical systems
  • Conduct existing building surveys and document mechanical system conditions
  • Develop engineering reports and technical studies
  • Write and edit project specifications
  • Provide construction administration support during project execution
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and internal project teams
  • Assist with business development, client relationships, and project interviews
  • Lead project tasks independently while contributing effectively within a team


What's Required


  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of mechanical design experience in the MEP industry (10+ years preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC system design for commercial and institutional buildings
  • Familiarity with applicable mechanical codes, standards, and design guidelines
  • Proficiency with Revit and Microsoft Office (AutoCAD experience is a plus)
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred
  • LEED certification or sustainable design experience is a plus
